Beyond the border of these texts mystics participate in a similar spiritual journey and become conscious of the logic of this journey in a shared dialogue. Dag Hammarskjöld is a prolific and fruitful reader of texts from different spiritual and mystical traditions. His inner dialogue shows that his personal reflections reach their inmost depth by a textual conversation with his colleagues mystics, men or women of letters and Holy Scripture, especially the Psalms. This essay focuses on the Imitatio Christi. |
