DM 28 informs us of the decisions taken following a 'royal council' devoted to the affairs of the Tomb. In order to understand the nature of one of them, the word r3-' sšw is fully discussed and the conclusion is reached that the r3-' sšw which were sent to the leaders of the Tomb was not 'drawing equipment', but technical documents containing instructions to start or to continue work on the site which had been closed pending their approval. |
