For some this has become a rhetorical question as they welcome the new and dazzling variety of alternative lifestyles and eagerly dismiss traditional practices. For others, although in favour of marriage in principle, the question causes embarrassment as they witness the reality of so many broken unions. In a time when the number of non-married lifestyles is increasing and the number of marriages decreasing, it seems more and more difficult to find convincing arguments on behalf of marriage. |
