Document Details : Title: Nuovo frammento di scultura monumentale dipinta nella provincia di Cardova Author(s): PORTILLO GÓMEZ, Ana Journal: BABESCH Volume: 100 Date: 2025 Pages: 153-164 DOI: 10.2143/BAB.100.0.3294527 Abstract : Among the materials located in the Archaeological and Ethnological Museum of the city of Córdoba, a unique sculptural fragment has brought up our attention thanks to its technical and stylistic quality and also because it preserves a well visible pictorical decoration. Likewise, we think that it is interesting since the sculptural typology that it seems to reproduce is a very representative and monumental model of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. This work focuses on the presentation and study of the piece, in order to approach to the identification and to know which are the statuary program in this area. |
