Oelsner, Or 86, 42-96) that aims to make available unpublished Late Achaemenid texts from Babylonia, particularly from Southern Babylonia — a region noted for its scarcity of legal and administrative documents drafted between the reigns of Xerxes and Alexander III. While the first in this series of articles is dedicated to documents from Uruk, the second is devoted to the study of a small group of texts from farther south, that is, from Larsa. All these texts are housed in the British Museum and are part of the 1914-4-4 collection. |
