Louvain Studies is an English-language quarterly review (approximately 400 pages per volume) of the Faculty of Theology of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. The journal, which is anchored in the historical-critical tradition of Leuven’s theological Faculty, aims to promote international dialogue and reflection on contemporary theological, ethical and pastoral issues. It also provides critical reviews of current theological literature, an annual Chronicle of events at the Faculty, and a Forum for the discussion of issues raised in the journal. Louvain Studies prides itself on being international, scholarly and readable.

Louvain Studies is abstracted and indexed in ATLA Religion Database; Elenchus Bibliographicus (Ephemerides Theologicae Lovanienses); CrossRef.
