Abstract :
As an archive, the Index of Christian Art (http://ica.princeton.edu) is unique and it is the only iconographically based resource in existence that caters for students of the medieval world.
A group of professional art historians with specializations in particular areas such as manuscripts, sculpture, Late Antique or Byzantine art to name just a few of the areas covered, catalogue works of arts from the early apostolic period to the end of the sixteenth century using a iconographic approach.
