Cette étude se propose de rappeler et d’analyser les principales sources talmudiques utilisables autour de cette question. Il tente un classement des arguments qu’emploient les rabbins mis en scène dans le Talmud contre le livre ou contre la fête de Pourim, dont Esther est le récit étiologique. Il établit ensuite une brève synthèse historique. How did the book of Esther, this strange “Jewish novel”, integrate the canon of the Hebrew Bible? The present essay intends to list and to analyse the major Talmudic sources on the question. It offers a thematic classification of the arguments that Sages appearing in the Talmud used against the book and the Pourim festival of which Esther is the etiological tale. Eventually a brief historical summary is proposed. |
