Abstract :
The following pages include an edition and annoted translation of an anonymous Book on Hebrew Verbs. All the known fragments at this time come from the Genizah. The first fragments from the work were found and edited by Nehemiah Allony who understood and published them as part of the al-Kitāb al-Kāmil by Jacob ben El‘azar (13th c.). Nevertheless, I shall show the way this book is comprised of glosses of the Book of Ḥayyūğ (10th c.) as revealed by its arrangement and contents; but never an anthological work such al-Kitāb al-Kāmil. Actually, this anonymous work is merely an account of binyanim previously recorded by Ḥayyūğ, adding brief additions and notes to update the Book of Ḥayyūğ.
