Abstract :
Four especially widespread grammatical categories are Number, (grammatical) Gender, Determination and Person. These four categories in themselves relate to one another in regular ways. From the regular dependences among the four categories, two regular category complexes arise: 1) DNG: Determination + Number + Gender and 2) PNG: Person + Number + Gender, where Number + Gender is the constant and either Determination or Person is the variable. The author studies the category complex DNG, which may be called 'Determinators', in the Sahidic New Testament.
