Abstract :
In the years 1966/67 a big vessel was found in Inand?ktepe, at a site located 109 km north-east from the Turkish capital Ankara. The almost fully preserved vessel is 82 cm high with a contour in s-shape, a rounded bottom and four handles. Its surface is decorated with four relief rows, two of which are purely ornamental while four others depict human figures and objects. In recent years this splendid piece of pottery has become known as the “Cultic vase of Inand?ktepe”.
