Hasluck et étayée par I. Beldiceanu-Steinherr, à la lumière de recensements ottomans de la fin du XVe et du début du XVIe siècles, selon laquelle Bektas, ou Mintas, autre forme du même nom, était un nom tribal. Irène Mélikoff pense toutefois que les Bektaslu étaient, non pas une tribu, mais plutôt un clan et que celui-ci peut avoir été affilié à l’importante tribu Oguz des Çepni. Refering to F.W. Hasluck’s supposition supported by I. Beldiceanu-Steinherr’s research work, I. Mélikoff is brought to admit that Bektas and Mintas are different forms of the same name and that Bektaslu could have been the name of a tribe, or rather a clan, which may have been affiliated to the important Çepni tribe of Oguz. |
