Abstract :
The edition of the Gospel text in the form of the Synopsis in Greek is a basic tool for all students of the Synoptic Gospels. The Concordance of the Greek New Testament is an indispensable tool. In combination of both of the Synoptic Gospels was not available before 1985. Some indications of Synoptic parallels are noted in Schmoller's Handkonkordanz and one portion of the Synoptic texts has been concorded in A Concordance to Q. A more complete Synoptic word list is provided in Part II of New Testament Vocabulary, 'Synoptic Parallels' and 'Synonyms and Substitutes'. A real complete Synoptic Concordance is now being collated and compiled by E.C. dos Santos and published under the editorship of R.L. Lindsey (first volume, 1985).
