Siewerth, le rapport entre être et pensée. Il montre que ce rapport est loin d’y être simple et schématique, car si c’est bien l’être qui constitue pour Siewerth le terme premier et fondamental en lequel s’enracine la pensée, cela n’est à son tour possible que dans la mesure d’une étroite affinité de l’être avec la pensée, au point que Siewerth en vient à parler d’une foncière «idéalité» de l’être. C’est cette idéalité de l’être dans toute sa complexité et avec les problèmes qu’elle soulève que l’article cherche à analyser. Il s’attache en particulier à la difficile notion de «conception de l’être» par laquelle Siewerth tente d’expliciter le rôle crucial de la pensée dans la dynamique de l’être, ce qui engage des considérations particulièrement décisives sur le rapport être-néant. The article examines the manner in which the relationship between being and thought is approached in the Neo-thomist system of G. Siewerth. It shows that this relationship is far from being simple and schematic, because, although being is for Siewerth the first and fundamental term in which thought is rooted, that is only possible if there is a close affinity between being and thought, to such an extent that Siewerth refers to a basic “ideality” of being. It is this ideality of being in all its complexity and the problems it raises that are analysed in this article. The inquiry concentrates in particular on the difficult notion of “conception of being”, by means of which Siewerth attempts to explicitate the crucial role of thought in the dynamics of being, which brings with it particularly decisive considerations on the relationship of being and nothingness. |
