Abstract :
Excavations at the Oxus Temple (site Takht-e Sangin) have led to the discovery of what is for Central Asea a unique archaeological complex, where approximately 8000 objects from the temple treasure have been found, only a small part of which has been published. This contribution describes in detail one of the architectural features: the Ionic capital of the Temple.
