La documentation hiératique provenant du même site a permis d'expliquer l'une des deux fautes: le copiste a confondu les deux signes hiéroglypliques dont la graphie hiératique est identique. La seconde erreur relève d'un oubli d'un élément de la proposition, situé à la suite du première terme fautif, ce qui a rendu une phrase du chapitre 54 incompréhensible. This note is dedicated to two mistakes made by the copist when he wrote the chapter 54 of the Book of the Dead in the tomb of Pached (TT 3) in Deir el-Medina. Hieratic documents found in the same site allowed to explain one of the errors; the copist mixed up two hieroglyphic words written identically in hieratic. In a second time, the scribe forgot a word. The two mistakes made this sentence of chapter 54 difficult to understand. |
