Après avoir échoué lors d’une première tentative, celui-ci continue ses efforts pour avoir gain de cause. Ce texte enrichit notre connaissance du milieu agricole dans les environs de Thèbes au début de l’époque perse. This short study examines two early Demotic papyri (P. dem. Louvre E. 3221c and 3231b) that come from Thebes and date to the reign of Darius I. The texts deal with the request of a choachyte, P3-sr-Is.t, to perform work on a parcel of land. After failing in his first attempt, he continues his efforts to gain access to the field. These texts are a useful addition to our knowledge of the agricultural processes in the Theban area during the early Persian Period. |
