L’araméen, la langue de la composition originale, se retrouve dans quelque dix copies datées circa dans le premier siècle avant notre ère, c’est dire l’intérêt que lui portaient les scribes de la Communauté essénienne. La plupart de ces fragments ayant été numérisés, il est possible d’apporter quelques corrections aux diverses éditions pour une meilleure approche du texte. The editions of various copies identified as belonging to the Giants’ Book are not without readings to be checked and, if possible, to be improved in order to benefit the most from so many fragments of the earliest copies of the Book. The Aramaic language of the original composition is that of some ten copies, all dated to the first century B.C., which shows the interest of the scribes of the Essenes’ Community. Now that most of the fragments have been digitalized, it is possible to correct some readings of the various editions for a better approach of the text. |
