Abstract :
On 31 May-1 June 2019, the international conference Mental Being in Late Medieval Thought: From Concepts to Chimeras was organized at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Leuven. This special issue presents revised and expanded contributions from that conference. The present Introduction gives an overview of some of the issues related to the later medieval debate on mental being and briefly summarizes the contributions gathered in this special issue.
