In the first is Cain the son of the satanic snake that seduced Eve, while in the second 'the son of God' mentioned in Genesis 6,2 is identified (following the enochic tradition) with the fallen angels or the sons of Seth, who seduced the sons of men, namely the maidens of Cain's kin. This and other stories on Adam an Eve in the Egyptian apocryphic texts are studied in this article. |
