The concept is explained by Philo’s reference to a person as ‘a living law’, which itself is rooted in a much older and widespread tradition of Hellenistic kingship. Le génitif dans l’expression «la loi du Christ» (Gal. 6,2) doit être compris comme génitif épexégétique (explicatif), à savoir «la loi qui est le Christ». La notion est éclairée par la référence, chez Philon, à une personne comme «loi vivante», notion elle-même enracinée dans une tradition sur la royauté hellénistique bien plus ancienne et répandue. |
