L’edizione, accompagnata da una traduzione italiana del testo, è preceduta da un’introduzione sul codice degli Antirretici, la data, le fonti e i manoscritti utilizzati per il Prooemium. Un annesso è consacrato alla Lettera a Giovanni di Karpasia di Giovanni Cantacuzeno, alle circostanze e alla data di composizione. The article presents the edition of the Prooemium to the Antirrhetics against John Kyparissiotes by John Kantakouzenos, in which the former emperor relates the history of the Palamite controversy. The edition, accompanied by an Italian translation of the text, is preceded by an introduction on the manuscript of the Antirrhetics, noting its date, sources, and other manuscripts used for the Prooemium. An annex is devoted to the Letter to John of Karpasia by John Kantakouzenos, the circumstances, and the date of its composition. |
