It is in part an exercise in liturgical hermeneutics in two senses, both as a hermeneutics of liturgy and in considering liturgical activity itself to be a hermeneutics of human life. The author investigates connections among Karl Rahner’s concept of 'the liturgy of the world', Stephen Crites’ concern with narrative theology, and Mark Searle’s understanding of liturgical participation. He then highlights ideas in the narrative thought of Paul Ricoeur, in particular Ricoeur’s notion of a threefold mimesis, and draws out the implications of adopting such a narrative approach to liturgical understanding. Cet article veut approfondir la compréhension du mécanisme de la liturgie chrétienne en considérant comment ses caractéristiques narratives peuvent engager ses participants. Il prend en considération deux types d’herméneutique liturgique: d’une part une herméneutique de la liturgie; d’autre part une interprétation de l’activité liturgique en elle-même comme herméneutique de la vie humaine. L’auteur étudie le rapport entre le concept de «la liturgie du monde» de Karl Rahner, l’intérêt de Stephen Crites pour la théologie narrative et la compréhension de la participation liturgique de Mark Searle. Il met ensuite en pleine lumière des idées de la pensée narrative de Paul Ricœur, particulièrement sa notion de la triple mimesis, et en extrait les implications d’une telle approche narrative de la compréhension liturgique. |
