Abstract :
Argumentative way that seeks to establish reasons to believe accesses, at best, to a high probability. But religious belief is conceived as certain. Using a reference to Newman, the author argues for a fallible, particular, personal and unfounded certainty. Unfounded certainty characterizes an entire aspect of our knowledge.
