Abstract :
In the squabbling religious factions on the world and American stage, Jews, Evangelical Christians, and Muslims are often perceived as and are actual contenders. While Evangelical literature and interaction with Islam and Muslims in the early 21st century ranges from intensely critical to cooperative and conciliatory, existing scholarly assessment usually focuses on polemics or history within a specific geographical context. This article investigates a different angle, examining bestselling author, journalist, former Netanyahu staffer, and Jewish convert to Christianity Joel C. Rosenberg as a present and potentially abiding influence in Evangelical-Muslim relations, as well as a popular American depicter of Islam and Muslims.
