Abstract :

As a positive determination of transcendence, immanence in Michel Henry is nothing other than the inversion of the former, which founds a new monism, but still a monism. In order to conceptualise this very immanence, but also the difference between the absolute body and the organic body, and the difference between absolute life and singular ipseity, it is necessary to have recourse, through the mediation of a recognition of the egological essence as renunciation, to the reintegration of a new transcendence at the very heart of the immanence. It is this internal non-intentional transcendence that renders correlatively possible the thought of an absolute transcendence irreducible to this same transcendence in immanence. Finally, it is the concept of immanental which, as absolute absence of distance between absolutely heterogeneous instances, ultimately makes it possible to think the coexistence between the immanent absolute and the transcendent absolute.
