Il s’agit par là même de prendre en compte ce qui demeurait sous-jacent: le lien entre l’ontologie, l’anthropologie et le politique. Le transcendantal Un permet de manière exemplaire d’illustrer l’enjeu éthico-politique inhérent à la raison métaphysique et procède à nouveaux frais au réexamen critique de concepts fondamentaux de la théorie politique comme l’individu, l’être-en-commun, le pacte, l’État et les relations interétatiques. The study of the transcendental properties of beings, the One, the True and the Good, in Suarez’s Disputationes Metaphysicae (1597) constitutes a central point in the understanding of the systematic use of metaphysical thought; nonetheless, the determination of theoretical philosophy by means of transcendental ontology cannot mask the questions of a practical order, both political and anthropological, that it contains in it. The aim is to take account of that which remains implicit: the link between ontology, anthropology and the political. The transcendental One makes it possible in an exemplary way to illustrate the ethico-political matters at stake that are inherent in metaphysical reason and proceeds anew to re-examine critically the fundamental concepts of political theory such as the individual, being-in-common, pacts, the State and interstate relations. |
