Suivant une opinion récente, fondée sur l’éventualité bien incertaine d’une représentation évoquant l’arrivée d’une future adoratrice à Karnak, cette date pourrait même indiquer le moment auquel Piânkhi a envoyé Aménirdis Ire à Thèbes, pour en faire l’héritière présomptive de Shapenoupet Ire. En fait, ce qui reste du passage plaide plutôt en faveur d’une mention de l’ocre de Nubie, évaluée en hnw, qui serait d’ailleurs mieux venue à la fin d’un inventaire détaillant les spécialités nubiennes embarquées sur le bateau. In the scene of navigation represented on the famous 'Piankhy’s blocks', the legend of the barge connected with this king ends with a partially damaged passage in which we wanted to recognize a reference to the year V of his reign. According to a recent opinion, based on the very uncertain eventuality of a representation evoking the arrival of a future God’s Wife of Amun to Karnak, this date could even indicate the moment when Piankhy has sent Amenirdis I in Thebes to make her the Shepenoupet I’s heir. In fact, what remains of the passage pleads rather in favour of a mention of the ochre of Nubia, measured in hin, which would fit better at the end of an inventory enumerating the Nubian specialities embarked on the boat. |
