L’examen de plusieurs particularités du monument et de son contenu amène à privilégier l’hypothèse d’un seul individu – réinhumé après la profanation de sa sépulture – plutôt que celle de deux Apis comme on le supposait jusqu’alors. Discussion about the number of Apis bulls buried during the reign of Horemheb inside the tomb D/E of the Serapeum at Saqqara. The examination of several distinctive features of the monument and its content makes us to prefer the hypothesis of a single individual – reburied after the desecration of his grave – rather than two Apis as previously assumed. |
