En Wallonie, le lien des cours d’onomastique avec ceux de dialectologie wallonne est très étroit. L’article présente brièvement le contenu et les objectifs de ces cours. Il souligne également l’importance pour la connaissance de l’anthroponymie et de la toponymie wallonnes des travaux d’études et des thèses qui ont été réalisés par les étudiants. After outlining the part played by Belgium in the development of the onomastic sciences, the article presents a picture of the current situation in the three large French-speaking universities (Brussels, Liege, Louvain-la-Neuve) which have offered for 50 years courses in onomastics, either independently or combined with other subjects, within the framework in Romance languages and literatures. In Wallonia, there is a close connection between courses in onomastics and those in Walloon dialectology. The article briefly describes the contents and objectives of these courses, underlining the importance of students’ dissertations for our knowledge of Walloon anthroponymy and toponymy. Nach einem Rückblick auf die Rolle, welche Belgien in der Entwicklung der Namenforschung gespielt hat, beleuchtet der Artikel die gegenwärtige Situation an den drei großen Universitäten (Brüssel, Lüttich, Louvain-la-Neuve) die seit 50 Jahren namenkundliche Kurse entweder unabhängig oder kombiniert mit anderen Themen, innerhalb des Curriculums für das Studium der romanischen Sprachen und Literaturen, angeboten haben. In Wallonien besteht eine enge Verbindung zwischen namenkundlichen Kursen und solchen, die der wallonischen Dialektologie gewidmet sind. Der Bericht behandelt in Kürze den Inhalt und die Zielsetzung dieser Kurse. Er unterstreicht auch die große Bedeutung der studentischen Dissertationen für unsere Kenntnisse der wallonischen Anthroponymie und Toponymie. |
