Elle est message à l’intérieur d’une situation d’entretien, qui est le propre de la condition humaine. C’est sur ce fond qu’est proposée une lecture de Jn, 1,1-18. La foi et l’alliance y apparaissent constitutifs du rapport des hommes entre eux, de Dieu avec l’humanité, comme aussi de l’être même de Dieu. Bref, ici, l’être de la communication, plus que la communication de l’être, inspire toute la pensée. The word is here considered as a whole: both utterance and listening, sending out and reception. It is a message within the context of conversation proper to the human condition. When John 1.1-18 is read against this background, faith and covenant are seen as part and parcel of the relations between God and humankind; indeed, they belong to the being of God. In other words, the emphasis here is on the very process of communication. |
