This is an incentive for us to reflect again on the situation and the role of marriage and to ask questions about the significance of the different marital arenas and how to evaluate them. In a time of great inner and outer change there is a growing need for guidance and orientation. Questions about the mystery of our lives, about self-respect and the shared readiness for responsibility, reliability, and readiness for union and true community of interest force themselves on us and point us to new ways that man and woman can live together in a successful relationship. |
