Iets minder zeldzaam wordt de naam als men er ook de variant Balcaen bijneemt die in westelijk Oost-Vlaanderen vrij frequent is, vooral in de omgeving van Oudenaarde, Deinze en Gent. The Family Name Bulckaen Bulckaen is a rather rare family name, appearing almost exclusively in the south of Western Flanders, more precisely in the regions of Ypres and Kortrijk (Courtrai). A little more frequent is the variant Balcaen, that is also found in the West of Eastern Flanders in the region of Oudenaarde, Deinze and Ghent. |
