Document Details : Title: The Cost of Discipleship Subtitle: Being a Tiny Christian Community in Islamic Milieu Author(s): ROBERT, Pascal Journal: Questions Liturgiques/Studies in Liturgy Volume: 86 Issue: 2-3 Date: 2005 Pages: 150-169 DOI: 10.2143/QL.86.2.2003209 Abstract : This paper testifies to the joys and the difficulties of forming a community of Christians in a minority situation in Pakistan. Although the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York have brought Christians all over the world closer together, the Christian community and institutions in Pakistan have had serious consequences. The strong faith of the Eucharistic community has been the source of strength for this tiny Christian community. |
