Door de resultaten daarvan aan te vullen met de gegevens uit andere 13de en 14de eeuwse bronnen heb ik een bestand verkregen van 1400 voornamen van mannen en 1070 van vrouwen, die ik tevens vergeleken heb met de ervan gevormde familienamen. First Names and Derived Last Names in Diest untill 1400 Earlier, I searched two text publications of 13th and 14th century tax registers for what first names to appear the most. Completing the results of this research with data from other 13th and 14th century sources, I collected a directory of 1400 first names for men and 1070 for women. Those names I compared with their derived last names. |
