Peeters Supports Open Access
All articles in open access journals which are published by Peeters are peer reviewed and, upon publication on the online journals website, immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.
Peeters facilitates OA journals (gold open access) and green OA by allowing authors to deposit their published article in institutional or subject repositories after a specified time period under the CC-BY-NC-ND license
High-quality OA publishing requires either funding to be available to pay for Article Processing Charges, sponsorship, and/or suitable embargo periods.
Open Access Options:
Gold Open Access
Public access is to the final published article, is immediate and is published either in an OA journal or a journal which supports hybrid open access.
OA fees are paid by the author or other sponsorship. If authors publish in a hybrid OA journal and do not choose to pay the Article Processing Charge, their paper will be published in the normal manner, and will not immediately be made freely available online. Open access articles will be clearly indicated on the journal's online contents volume page.
Authors can choose between a commercial and non commercial user license.
Green Open Access
Self-archiving, also known as green open access, refers to the practice of depositing articles in an institutional repository
or a subject repository under the CC-BY-NC-ND license
No fee is payable by the author as publishing costs are covered by library subscriptions. An embargo period may apply. The article should link to the formal publication via its DOI.
