Document Details : Title: A Highland Elamite Archer from Kūl-e Farah IV, CI:4 Author(s): ÁLVAREZ-MON, Javier Journal: Iranica Antiqua Volume: 50 Date: 2015 Pages: 251-277 DOI: 10.2143/IA.50.0.3053522 Abstract : This article follows in the footsteps of a handful of scholars who, since George N. Curzon’s time, have sought to underscore the significance of Elamite reliefs from the highland valley of Īzeh/Mālamīr. This study first introduces the reader to the Elamite reliefs from the highlands of Īzeh/Mālamīr and secondly offers new evidence for one of the best preserved sections of the relief known as Kūl-e Farah number IV (KFIV), an Elamite archer (number 4) located in Panel CI (CI:4). |
