Abstract :
Théophile, à qui sont dédiés l’évangile de Luc et les Actes, est simplement le disciple-type de Paul, qui cherche à comprendre le sens d’une Vie de Jésus écrite.



Luke and Acts are dedicated to one Theophilus, unknown otherwise. The easiest way to give him an identity is to view him as a simple disciple of Paul’s, who seeks the meaning of a written Life of Jesus.
